NOVI SAD FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE, NORWICH

The Novi Sad Friendship Bridge spans over the River Wensum and has an asymmetrical cable-stay arrangement with lightweight steel swinging span, which is counterbalanced by kentledge. The 34m moving section rotates on a turntable housed in a shaped steel shroud that also contains the M&E equipment. The deck is 4.5m wide with central cycle lane and pedestrian walkways either side.
