Songkhla Lake Tunnel - Thailand

The proposed Songkhla Lake Tunnel crossing will be the first major road tunnel to be constructed in Thailand.

The appearance of the tunnel approach cuttings, the portal and the sun visor zones are considered major elements and will have incorporated local and historic themes. Drivers will be ensured of a smooth safe transition through the different tunnel zones, the tunnel lining will be decorated with a graphical representation of Thai rural landscapes.
